CALEM 10 Years Old Tawny Porto 20.0%

Calem was founded in 1859 by the Portuguese António Alves Cálem. In the beginning, Calem exported wine to Brazil on the way back to exotic timber. The first Vintage Port Calem was made in 1870 and won medals at the Bordeaux, Marseille and Brussels wine competitions. Today, Calem is actively involved in the development of wine tourism and in 2006 won the Best of Wine Tourism 2006 award.

Wine: Made of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, TintaRoriz and Tinto Cão grapes.Porto Cálem 10 Anos results from a careful selection of aged Port Wines, which spent in average 10 years in oak casks.

Nose: dry fruits, spice and honey.

Palate: In the mouth it is involving, complex and presents a powerful ending.
