Besides its natural beauty, Glendalough is renowned for its early medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St. Kevin, a legendary monk and the man on our bottle. The craft of distilling spirits was invented and nurtured in Irish monasteries like Glendalough around this time.

Irish oak used for is 130 old and grow in the mountains that surround the distillery. Trees are carefully selected and felled according to sustainable forest management practices to ensure the healthy development of forests in the future.

Nose and palate: Citrus with vanilla, caramel, banana, treacle, with earthy, herbal undertones of oak spices. Long aftertaste with creamy vanilla and almond.
