Glendalough is Ireland's first craft distillery. Glendalough (The Glen of Two Lakes) is a glacial valley in the Wicklow Mountains. Besides its natural beauty, Glendalough is renowned for its early medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St. Kevin, a legendary monk and the man on our bottle.  The craft of distilling spirits was invented and nurtured in Irish monasteries like Glendalough around this time.
This is an Irish whiskey that will make you think twice about Irish whiskey. Forget the blends of the last hundred years, this world beating liquid is not just part of the new breed, it’s a thoroughbred.
This whiskey is aged in two barrels that have previously used for American Bourbon and Burgundy Grand Cru white wines.

Nose: multifaceted and pronounced with hints of vanilla and candied citrus fruits.
