Jura 12YO Single Malt Whisky 40%

JURA whiskey distillery was founded in 1810 and it is situated on Jura Island, and is one of a kind here. 20 out of 212 inhabitants of the island work in the distillery and make this whiskey. Jura whisky is distilled in copper pot stills, which are among the slimmest in Scotland.

This whiskey is matured for 12 years in American white oak casks from Bourbon. Then, for several months, in Oloroso sherry barrels.

Nose and palate: dark chocolate, honey, walnuts, licorice and brown sugar.
