Jura 18YO Single Malt Whisky 44.0%

JURA whiskey distillery was founded in 1810 and it is situated on Jura Island, and is one of a kind here. 20 out of 212 inhabitants of the island work in the distillery and make this whiskey. Jura whisky is distilled in copper pot stills, which are among the slimmest in Scotland. This whiskey is matured for 18 years in American white oak casks from Bourbon. Then, for several months, in Premier Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux red wine barrels.

Nose and palate: ripe red fruits, toffee, crème anglaise and cinnamon, complemented by raspberry jam and strawberries and a hint of chocolate.
